There are some BRAND NEW changes to google docs. You can now do research without having to go to GOOGLE :-)

BOWLARAMA CHAMPION!

Congratulations to our Bowlarama Elective Champion Jaimee Hook. Taking out the competition, over three weeks, by ONE PIN! Everybody had a great time and there was some strong performances, and great manners. Well done to everyone!

Debating

For the last couple of weeks we have been learning all about debating.  Today some of us got to share our debates with the class.

Homework should not be compulsory - Best Group

 Uniforms should be compulsory at Riverdale - Best Group

Best speakers in each Debate group (voted by their peers) - confident & clear

This is what some of the children thought of debating.
Millie - It was really good to learn debating because you got to complete against other teams.
Iziah - It was awesome because you got to speak in public and people cheered for you and voted for you.  You could try to get over your fear if you were afraid of public speaking.
Layana - You got to present in front of people.

QUIDDAGE REFLECTION- our last quiddage day for the term

Hi Kids,

We will get into groups of 2-3.
We will give you a slide number.
You'll write down your ideas on your slide.
After 2 minutes we go UP a number to the next slide.
E.G- Slide 6 goes to Slide 7 etc.

We will repeat the process.

WRITE IN SHORT SENTENCES:

TASK- reflect on our QUIDDAGE.
